
Artist Michael Neithardt’s passion and creativity have shaped a nearly three decade career spanning theater, film, television, and commercials. A Queens native, he is the founding creative producer, director, and writer behind the artist collective, Palmy Inn. His career by navigating the high-pressure situations as Bob Weinstein's assistant at Miramax Films, where he worked on Academy Award-winning films Shakespeare in Love and Good Will Hunting, and the horror franchise Scream. Over the last two decades, Michael has built a reputation for finding solutions where others see obstacles, working on award-winning independent films, theater and commercials. His work as an actor, director, and producer in theater includes Situations, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Tape, and Tennessee Williams’ Collected Shorts, reinforcing his deep connection to storytelling. His films, including I'm Happy (TropfestNYC finalist) and alive feeling like a buck seventy-five (Best Short, New Hampshire Film Festival), which he wrote, directed, produced, and acted in, reflect his instinct for human complexity. Whether crafting a short film, staging a play, or leading large-scale productions, Michael remains dedicated to the art of storytelling—bringing people together, elevating the creative voice, and infusing every project with grace, class, and a touch of humor.
